Outside Sales Representative

Braber Equipment is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our team! The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining business relationships with customers throughout BC, as well as cultivating and growing new opportunities. The position will require travel throughout the Fraser Valley as well as regular reporting to the Owner. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication, negotiation and self-management skills and be able to build an impeccable rapport with our dealer community. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Preference given to candidates with experience in the Auto Industry/Agricultural Industry or the Tool Industry
  • Be driven, self-motivated and have a positive can-do attitude
  • Have exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Have a proven record of sales achievement and at least 3 years direct dealer sales experience
  • Have a technical aptitude and be mechanically inclined
  • Have strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Be able to prioritize and self-manage
  • Ability to travel within BC

Qualifications And Skills:

  • Proven experience in a sales role
  • Post secondary education in Sales, Business Administration or relevant field strongly preferred
  • In-depth understanding of the sales administration process
  • Excellent interpersonal and team management skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Hands on experience with MS Excel
  • Experience with continuous improvement concepts is a strong asset
  • Mechanically inclined an asset
  • Agriculture, Farm Hardware, Lawn/Garden, Tools & Equipment, Automotive, Industrial sales experience an asset

Key Account Manager

Braber Equipment is seeking a professional individual to join our team as a Key Account Manager. In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales through verbal and electronic communication while cultivating and nurturing client relationships and constantly expanding product offering, quality and marketing, with a possible 3-4 days a month travel. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Build and maintain relationships with buyers from our corporate accounts.
  • Complete and submit customers part setup sheets and other requests for information.
  • Respond to customers’ requests related to order statuses, backorders, delivery times and warranty issues.
  • Communicate with customers dealers regarding new products and promotions.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities in customers product range, and work with Product Development to create presentations / proposals.
  • Compile reports and present feedback to the management team related to sales and delivery.
  • Provide parts and technical support to corporate account dealers as required.
  • Maintain our ERP (Syspro) for part setup, specifications and customer contract prices.
  • Develop and expand product specification database.
  • Maintain the front end of our website for product information.
  • Work with the graphics department on promotional material, product packaging and catalogues.
  • Perform other tasks as requested by management.

Qualifications And Skills:

  • 2+ Years’ experience working in Account management / Inside Sales.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PPT).
  • Intermediate math skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
  • Ability to problem solve and learn independently.
  • Outstanding customer service and telephone skills.
  • Experience working with Windows based PC.
  • Possess a high level of attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency.

Warehouse Operations Manager

Braber Equipment is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager with strong communication and interpersonal skills to join our team. Reporting to the General Operations Manager, this individual will manage the day-to-day activities related to shipping and receiving orders, shop and yard activities as well as inventory management. This individual will also be responsible for implementing new procedures to improve operational effectiveness and provide performance reports for management as required. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, confident, independent, adaptable and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee shipping and receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
  • Comply with federal, provincial, and municipal warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements, including forklift certification
  • Liaise with customers and transport companies
  • Maintain cleanliness, daily cycle and physical counts, and perform equipment inspections
  • Investigate and correct discrepancies in reported quantities and locations of all inventory
  • Monitor delivery schedule and customer orders
  • Communicate with sales staff regarding order status, including addressing any discrepancies
  • Train other employees in warehouse operations
  • Manage the reception, handling, distribution and storage of all freight, product, and supplies that come in and out of warehouse
  • Communicate all delays or variances in inbound/outbound freight to the appropriate parties
  • Investigate discrepancies for root cause
  • Plan warehouse layout and space requirements in order to prevent loss or damage, and to achieve warehouse optimization; take into account full implications of product turnover, size, weight, and other factors when allocating warehouse space
  • Oversee assembly team to ensure production deadlines are met
  • Develop, implement and monitor warehouse processes and procedures
  • Ensure a safe and healthy workplace and identify and correct unsafe practices. Work with Health and Safety to establish and implement new or revised processes as necessary
  • Facilitate the flow of documents into the office in a timely manner
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications And Skills:

  • 8+ years in warehouse management
  • Similar experience for a manufacturing company or international distributor
  • Experience in importing, exporting, and container loading
  • Familiar with order management and inventory applications. Experience with warehouse management systems including barcoding and RFID
  • Working knowledge of trucks, trailers and freight equipment. Experience in managing third-party logistics providers
  • Knowledge of project management principles; experience managing projects considered an asset
  • Strong analytical, strategic and decision making skills
  • Sense of urgency; detail-oriented and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Team leadership and teambuilding abilities
  • Excellent planning and resource allocation skills
  • Effective computer skills with ability to use software such as Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
  • Effective writtern and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of an ERP, Syspro an asset
  • Forklift and Raymond experience
  • Strong knowledge of WHMIS requirements
