The Braber PHA12SG is a 12" short post hole auger built for use with the BE-PHDLG post hole digger. Forged from high-strength carbon steel for industrial-grade durability, it bores clean, consistent 12"-diameter holes to a 24" depth — sized for larger structural posts, footings, and high-volume digging.

Its compact 32" length is matched to the BE-PHDLG's shorter boom, keeping the auger maneuverable in tight spaces and manageable with smaller tractors. At 43 lbs, it carries enough mass to bite into the ground and start the hole. The PHA12SG is the official replacement for the legacy BE-PHA12SG.

The PHA12SG is purpose-sized for Braber's BE-PHDLG light-duty post hole digger, the shorter-boom model built for sub-30 HP tractors. The 12" flighting diameter handles larger structural posts and footings and high-volume holes, while the 24" drilling depth sets posts at a stable, consistent depth. The auger's single-flight design moves loose and moderately compacted soil up and out of the hole efficiently, keeping the bore clean.
