The hydraulic offset hitch slides the flail head out to the side, letting you mow beyond the tractor's wheels — along a ditch, a fence line, or a canal bank — while the tractor stays safely on level ground. From there, hydraulic tilt pivots the head anywhere from +90° up (for hedge faces and embankment tops) to −53° down (for ditch bottoms and bank slopes), following the contour of the land. The flail head's 28 hammers mulch grass, weeds, and light brush cleanly, throwing the cuttings down rather than out to the side — the same contained, safe cutting action that makes flail heads ideal for roadside and property-edge work.
