Bridge Mismatched PTO Shafts

When a tractor's PTO and an implement's driveline don't share the same spline size, they can't connect — and that's the problem this adapter solves. The 551PA takes a smaller 1-1/8" 6-spline female connection on one end and presents the common 1-3/8" 6-spline (540 RPM) male output on the other, bridging the gap between the two. Rather than a clamp, it uses a pin-lock system: drilled holes on both ends accept locking pins to retain the adapter on the shafts for a secure hold.
